““God loves you and He has a plan for your life”.

 
I can remember those words from years ago.  I knew something was missing in my life.  Even though on the outside things did not look bad – a young man in his late twenties, married, two cars, a house, a good paying job, a good education…but on the inside there was no happiness or peace. 

I had grown up in a family, where going to church every Sunday was expected.   I walked away from it in my early teens for the ‘good’ life.  Married, with one child and one on the way, my life was falling apart. And that was when it happened.  I prayed a short, desperate prayer:  “God help me.” And God answered that prayer.  That was thirty-three years ago.  He accepted me as I was and put me on the path that leads to life.

I want to encourage you to reach out to God. He loves you and wants you to experience peace and an abundant life.

 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

 
We have a choice.
